Need an expert?

Postby PaulE » Thu, 28 Mar 2019 4:52 pm

Have you ever been writing a story and wished you could ask an expert in that area?

Then check out @hivemindarchive on Twitter. They are a collective of people with expertise across diverse fields.

Don't have Twitter? (Yes, that's you Rath.) Then try https://bit.ly/2tySste

Sigh. I went to that spreadsheet, and just about everyone's contact details say DM [something]@[something] - no .com, no .org or .org.au etc. What does that mean? :( I understand they want to protect themselves from spam, but I can't contact them like this.

DM = Direct Message, so if they've only listed that as a contact then you would need a Twitter account to get in touch.

The details were shared via the #WritingCommunity on Twitter, and they're pretty good at filtering out the spammers.

That's a comprehensive list! There were some emails Rath, but whether they apply for you, I couldn't say.

If anybody is trying to figure out how to dip their toes in the Twitter stream and meet other writers, I came across this today.
