Special Guest chat session

Postby PaulE » Fri, 03 Nov 2017 4:40 pm

Hi all,

I suggested this in Paul's thread asking about what we can do to promote activity on the forum, and provide value for our members.

There's no guarantee I could talk anyone into it, but I know a couple of published authors and the owner of a small publishing house. If there is enough interest, I'm prepared to approach them to see if they would like to be our special guest in a chat session, to answer questions you may have about the writing process or getting published.

So, if this is of interest please reply to this thread.

Cheers
Paul

Absolutely. Just the kind of thing I was thinking would be useful / attractive.

Well, I'd call that mild interest. I doubt I could convince anyone to join a chat just to have 5 people on it.

Anyone else?

List it on Facebook to see if you can get interest that way.

Great idea! How would you like to word something like that Paul? I can do it but I'd only put something up you're happy with. Their your friends.
