Hard to say, I just did a very quick check and we seem to have members signing in (23 in the past week) and 34 active topics.
Has anybody else noticed this?

I think we're still visiting but where we're at in Life is taking us away a bit more. I'm doing a writing course so could post some of what I do there once done but it's not for review so fairly pointless.

I do get to chat with some or the other when I login. But I guess it isn't a lot. The main question to ask is, what people want from this forum and how that can be achieved.

I was wondering if this forum could be made into a website and a forum included in that? People come and if this is just a forum then it is just for interaction and people don't tend to interact/post a lot unless it is facebook.
Another idea to get more people to visit/interact often is to have regular scheduled events. Guess we would need volunteers for that.

Those were my two cents.
People need to pitch in with more ideas on how to make it more interactive.

I think this forum works well just the way it is. People can contribute their work if they wish, or not as the case may be. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I read most posts and respond to some. I'm sure many other members do the same. :)

It is really hard at times to balance the needs and wants of everybody.

I have posted a few times asking for feedback, as always I am happy to hear any suggestions.

One thing I dislike and it's no criticism, is how the threads disappear quickly - the forum moves fast at times. May be just the way I'm using it. Kanchan's idea makes sense - don't make only vistor's join - but so does Joss's. I agree, Paul, it's hard to balance things.

This is the best way to "active" topics: search.php?search_id=active_topics

As I have said a few times, what do we want from this forum?

I'd like critiquing of work and some social. We are travelling okay at present, I think.

I've been a little busy for the last month, but I'm with Rachel. I also like the short activities (writing challenges, etc.) as I find they don't take a lot of time, and help me practice my craft, which is something I want to do before attempting larger work.
