Hmm. And if you don't, and it really is a surprise, then the readers will cry "Unfair!" :( and cast your book into the fire. :shock:

Yes, they will. Surprise should come with an, 'Oh, of course - I should've seen it coming!' and not a, 'What the cheese?' or 'Who is that character?'
I would burn the book, toss it to the chooks, or drop it in the craypot. Even if I did it ...

Just wondering, Rkcapps - when you delete a book from the Kindle, does it have a humorous sound-effect? ;)

"Boi-i-i-i-ing" might be nice (like this). Or maybe fire whoosh. Or wah wah... etc. I'm sure you can think of many more.

Maybe the Kindle could pick one at random. Although the whole idea could easily become tiresome ... sorry. :?
