This sounds like a great idea and I am all for it.
Any objections?

You could grab some ideas from here and here before those pages disappear.

Hi, Paul great to see that the concept seemed popular and that you have taken such prompt action. I wonder though if you could give the 'thread' a more prominent label on the board index. Part of my idea was that Guests to the forum may explore the recent releases to see what kind of writings the members have published and that this may give them an extra impetus to join us. With the current thread, I think that it's unlikely that a guest would find it, and it's probably only the members who know where it is who will explore it.

I agree the thread title should have a very prominent label.

Perhaps everyone could chip in, suggesting words that could be included in a more obvious title, easy for everyone to find - members as well as guests.

I've only thought of two words that may be appropriate - 'Publications' or 'Published'. ?

Or 'perhaps Publications' ?

So you would like it to be on the main board with it's own topic?

I think current 'WIPS' too because just published work is not truly reflective of what we do. Let's encourage writers to see we value all contributions and not to be intimidated because they aren't published. This includes short stories, poems and articles etc

Hi, yes I think on the main board with it's own topic would encourage guests to have a look. I agree that perhaps additional works, as well as those published could be an advantage, but perhaps that could get unwieldy unless there was a limit of some kind. "Recent' springs to mind, but I'm not sure what time span would be appropriate.
