Yay!
Shame I don't have Facebook.
I can understand that some people don't like / want Facebook, no pressure

Re: How can we increase Forum Participation
I guess it's about time that I/we concluded the issue of how to better support individual genres. To attempt to summarise the options:
Thoughts?
- Forum sections for each genre. Technically, we'd want a matrix-type arrangement, with ‘writing’, ‘publishing’, ‘reviews’, etc, for each genre. This would be quite cumbersome, so I'd suggest just subdividing 'reviews' in the first instance.
- Tags in topic titles; eg, [FANTASY]. These would be searchable but cumbersome to enter and, I suspect, usually omitted.
- Custom topic/post icons. These are not searchable.
- Custom smileys. These are not searchable.
- Custom BBCode Tags (eg, like [b] for bold). Not searchable.
- Custom user profile fields. Not easily noticed and wouldn't tag individual posts, but would allow members to indicate their interests.
- Members Page field. As above.
- Custom-built forum modification. Great, except that it would be a huge task.
Thoughts?

I think adding some sections in reviews would be a good idea, I can't see much benefit to having a heap of sub-sections which don't get much use.

That sounds interesting, what is the name of it? (If you don't mind me asking)
