Three Stupid Questions....

Postby HipNip » Thu, 22 Aug 2013 11:17 am

Firstly, how do I respond to someone's hello?
Secondly, how can I give a compliment to somebody?
Thirdly, how does Andre get his Avatar to revolve so resplendently? Is it magic?

I'm not sure what you mean. I usually use the 'quick reply' button, but I think you've already discovered that.

If you want to quote some of their text (as I've done with yours here), click the 'QUOTE' button in the post to which you wish to reply.

Or are you referring to Private Messages?

Again, I'm failing to understand. If you're referring to giving a post a thumbs-up or a +1, alas, this software doesn't support that. It's been suggested before and I looked into it, but there are no satisfactory modifications that would allow it.

The most expedient method here may be to submit a reply post comprising the (y) smilie. If that answer raises more questions, ask them! :)

It's important that you master giving compliments fairly quickly, since I'll be posting my submission to the trust challenge soon. ;)

That's my theory, yes. A long-shot alternative is this.

Thank you Peter. Prompt and helpful . I was looking at your website and saw your template for writing a novel. I was planning on writing a template for myself this weekend, but then I fortuitously stumbled upon yours and smiled! Cheers kind sir.

You say "Hello",
"Say. That's a nice top".
I've got nothing on number three though. Hehe
