Donations Welcome!

Postby Peter McLennan » Sat, 06 Jun 2015 11:00 am

While I hate to do this, and I know I've been slack lately (due to a death in the family)...

I've just paid another forum-related bill ($19.25 for the domain name for two years). If anyone would like to share in the forum running costs by donating (eg, here), that would be sweet!

And the advantage is, no advertising on the forum :)

Yep. I proposed using ads to defray costs at one point, but it wasn't a popular suggestion!

There's a Firefox add-on called AdBlock Plus that I've been using for several years. Look it up - it does exactly what it says on the tin (i.e. blocks all ads). I've been very impressed with it. :)

So we can have ads here if we wish, to defray costs... but the upside is that we'll never have to see them. ;)
