True, these questions can be difficult -- unless the writer only treats writing as a hobby, perhaps (e.g. by relying on some other line of work to bring in a regular salary, while trying out writing as an evening/weekend job etc). Alexa is right. :) You learn a lot more from failure than from success (although success is, of course, much more pleasant). ;) I learned a crapload more from trying out (and failing in) writing a beat sheet, or an outline (just as an example).
