Thanks for the tips guys.

I'm certainly not brave enough to venture into CP territory yet, but maybe once I've finished writing and given it a rough edit I'll feel a bit differently.

This is interesting!

I've been told by a few people in the industry (and it's in the article too) - your first book is always terrible. Is this really true? Or does it more refer to the first draft?

I really like this article - some very good points. I fell into the "perfect" trap when I first started writing my novel about 3 years ago. Now I prefer to just write uninhibitedly and let the trainwreck happen. It's more fun that way :)
