Argh. I recently received the feed back from a competition I entered. It ranged from I love it- a few tweeks and you could publish this to it was dull and boring you should not have bothered entering.

Hard to know whether or not to crawl under the covers and never come out.

My wip probably still has too many. I also have random extras. I am trying to combine them which is not as hard as I first thought. I totally agree Rath. If you cant read it aloud without taking a breath, it needs punctuation. Ive worked with university professors who regularly write sentences of over 100 words - no commas.

Any university webpage will have info on referencing. There are many types- harvard, APA. As long as you refrence the material and dont try to pass it off as your own you should be ok. As for copying - a maxumun of 10percent springs to mind.
